Stage 1: Preparation

Documents required:

Copy of valid photo ID
Proof of Address (Name must match that on Photo ID)
Garda Vetting ID Validation Form

Stage 2: Applying on the FAI MyComet System

The Garda Vetting application is an online process through the FAI’s MyComet system.
If you have an existing MyComet account, please login by clicking on the link: FAI MyComet Login

If you have not created an account in the past, then click on the link: FAI MyComet Sign Up

Once completed you will receive an email from : Analyticom SSO. Please follow the steps in this email to activate your account.

When logged into the MyComet system, please follow the steps below:

Stage 3: FAI review and Notifying St.Mochta’s FC of the outcome of the application

Stage 4: Confirmation from St.Mochta’s FC

Once the approved Garda Vetting details have been reviewed by the club. The Club’s Child welfare officer will inform the applicant when they are able to commence volunteering activities at the club.

If you have not received approval from the club, you should not undertake any work in a paid or voluntary capacity with children or vulnerable persons in football.
